Art sale is Saturday

Do your Christmas shopping with an artistic flair on the island at the Third Saturday Sale.

It will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Dec. 15, at the Art Center for the Islands, 323 N. Alister St.

More than 40 artists will offer from 10 to 50 percent discount on their work for the sale.

"This is a perfect opportunity to pick up special gifts for holiday giving," said art center director Mary Rose.

Choices include pottery, jewelry, photos, paintings, prints, metal art, stained glass, fish prints and more.
