Builders continue to file permits for upscale single-family homes

      No more new subdivisions are on the horizon, but homes are being built and construction continues on several large subdivisions in Port Aransas. "Building (in the commercial sector) seems to have slowed down, but we're still pretty busy," said Port Aransas Building Official Joe Lamb.
