Jane Bull, who wrote the musical, interviewed many long-time Port Aransas residents to get the real stories of the town's past. She put the stories together into a "mostly true" musical. Bull changed the names to protect the innocent and is leaving it up to the audience to decide what is fiction and what is fact. Jane and Ken Yarbrough wrote several songs for this show that spans 30 years of Port Aransas history beginning in the 1950's. The musical will be presented Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 17 - Feb. 3. |
