Extreme makeover
The H.G. Olsen Elementary School reading garden got a 'facelift' Saturday, Oct. 20. Volunteers included fifth-grade teacher Julie Findley and three fifth-grade students, environmental science teacher Jill Smith with four students, Port Aransas Garden Club member Dee Warner with two Brundrett Middle School students, Mike Collins of K&M Landscaping and PAISD superintendent Billy Wiggins (inset). They trimed, weeded and hauled off truckloads of debris for a better look to the garden.
