PAHS Student Council plans dance Friday night
     Port Aransas High School students are invited to a dance tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 26. The PAHS Student Council is sponsoring the event that will include a DJ and refreshments. The dance will be held from 8 to 12 p.m., at the PAHS cafeteria.

      The Port Aransas PTO has announced winners of a student fundraising competition. Students throughout H.G. Olsen Elementary School sold a variety of catalogue items including wrapping paper and gift items like picture frames and candles.

H.G. Olsen Elementary fence still awaiting locks

      While H.G. Olsen Elementary School has installed security fencing around the campus, the front gates aren't in use yet because locking mechanisms haven't yet been delivered and installed. Principal Sylvia Buttler said she is hoping the locks will be installed by around Friday, Oct. 26.

Halloween parade slated to hit streets Saturday afternoon
