Let junior class bake holiday desserts for you

Concentrate on the turkey and dressing, and leave the desserts to the junior class of Port Aransas High School.

The class is raising money to put on the junior-senior prom in the spring, and a dessert sale just in time for Thanksgiving is one of the fundraisers planned.

Homemade apple crisp, pumpkin crisp, peach cobbler and chocolate dream pie will go to the first 50 orders for each dessert. Cost is $10 for a 9-inch pie.

Deadline to place orders is Nov. 12.

Orders will be available for pick up at the high school on Nov. 20 from 2:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Other arrangements for pick up can be made upon request.
