Lady Marlins win cross-country district

      The Port Aransas Lady Marlins cross-country team won the district championship with a victory at West Guth Park in Corpus Christi on Monday, Oct. 22. The Lady Marlins will compete in a regional meet on Saturday, Nov. 3, in San Antonio.

      Even a roaring norther couldn't cool the heels of Brundrett Middle School's cross-country runners. The BMS seventh-grade boys cross-country team took first place in district competition as fall's first real cold front blew in at West Guth Park in Corpus Christi on Monday, Oct. 22.

Cheerleader calendars may still be purchased
      Orders are still being taken for the first PAHS Calendar of Events. The calendar is a project of the Port Aransas High School cheerleaders. Calendars will feature pictures of high school events and students as well as scenic pictures of Port Aransas.
