NECK DEEP IN FISH
Juan Gutierrez of Rockport waded out to neck-deep water to fish near the south jetty on Friday, Oct. 12. Wading this far out is risky unless the angler wears a lifejacket and is a strong swimmer. Fishing with a buddy under these circumstances also is advised. Anglers with well-baited hooks are reeling in nice catches of bull reds, trout and more.
