Ferry ramp work begins
The tug Suzy Q noses a barge and crane into Ferry Ramp 3 on the Port Aransas side of the ship channel as the ferry Mark G. Goode heads in to discharge vehicles. Workers will have ramps 3 and 4 blocked until at least Friday, they said, and work could continue into next week. In any case, four ramps will remain open on the Port Aransas side and ferry operations officials said they didn't expect ferry traffic to be slowed.
