Community invited to KPAB Appreciation Celebration Tuesday

Take time Tuesday, Sept. 18, to enjoy food, drink and fellowship at the Keep Port Aransas Beautiful (KPAB) annual "thank-you".

The Appreciation Celebration will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Community Center, 408 N. Alister St.

It is not necessary to be a member to attend. Everyone in the community is invited to join in as the organization recognizes those who have helped KPAB the past year.

The event also is held to encourage newcomers to see what the organization is about, and invite them to become a part of KPAB.

The perennial theme, "Port Aransas, It's Our World', features finger food and drink from around the world.

The mission of KPAB is to promote public interest in creating a cleaner, more beautiful Port Aransas through volunteerism and education.

KPAB is an all-volunteer community 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on litter reduction, beautification and community improvement, "reduce-reuse-recycle and rebuy" and environmental education.
