Middle school council to sell supply packages

Take the easy way out and purchase school supplies for middle school from the Brundrett Middle School student council.

The council has packaged supplies and will be selling them from 2 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, Aug. 20-24, at the middle school cafeteria, at the corner of 10th Street and Avenue B. The council is selling the packs to raise money and to facilitate the new organizational system.

An all school pack that includes six 3-ring binders (red, blue, green, white, black and grey), a binder pouch, six packs of 150-count looseleaf notebook paper, 12 count map colors, 10 blue pens and five red pens, will be sold for $17.

A sixth grade pack including two dozen No. 2 pencils, a five pack of highlighters, a pocket folder with brads, two yellow legal pads and tab dividers, will be sold for $10.

A seventh and eighth grade pack including three 70-count spiral notebooks, two pocket folders, two dozen No. 2 pencils and two yellow legal pads, will be sold for $9.

The money raised by the council during the school year is used for beautification purposes at the school and campus. Prior project funds were used for benches and for a scrolling sign for the cafeteria.

These items also will be available to purchase individually through the school store.

Call the middle school office at 749-1209 for more information.
