Heddlesten named South Jetty ad director

Jennifer Heddlesten has joined the South Jetty as advertising director. She will oversee advertising sales and production, as well as handle advertising accounts.

Heddlesten was retail sales manager for the Round Rock Leader, and a retail account executive for the Brazosport Facts before joining the South Jetty staff. She and her husband, Brian, owned Shady Oaks Auto Parks in Lake Jackson before she went to work for the Round Rock Leader.

While working in Round Rock, Heddlesten lived in Hutto where she was active in the Chamber of Commerce as chairman of the board, a member of the board of directors, chamber banquet chairman and Olde Tyme Days planning committee member. Heddlesten also was on the planning committee for the Hutto Business to Business Showcase, and a volunteer with the Hutto Youth Football and Cheer Association.

Heddlesten, who grew up in Brazoria County, and her husband, Brian, have two sons. Tyler will be a senior at Port Aransas High School, and Brant will enter fourth grade at H.G. Olsen Elementary School.
