Kickoff
Bryan Van Tassel pitches dirt as work begins on the Oleander Street storm sewer project. Work was delayed on the sewer project because manufacturers of the sewer pipe were backlogged with orders. Engineers now estimate the project will be finished in late November. The sewer will connect with a new pipe that carries runoff from the area of Alister and Beach streets, and will extend up Oleander Street to Avenue A to handle runoff from that area.
