Art Center's Third Saturday sale Aug. 18

The public is invited to stop by the Art Center for the Islands Saturday, Aug. 18, for the monthly Third Saturday Sale. The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the art center, 323 N. Alister St.

More than 40 member artists will offer from their work at a discount of 10-50 percent.

"This is a perfect opportunity to pick up something special for yourself or for a gift, and perfect choices in many categories are unlimited," said center director, Mary Rose.

"Let art of all kinds bring joy to you or someone you care about while getting a special deal," Rose said.

Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
