Date set for new student registration

Students not previously enrolled in the Port Aransas Independent School District may register for the 2007-08 term on Tuesday, Aug. 14.

New student registration will be held in the principals' offices on all three campuses: H.G. Olsen Elementary School (pre-kindergarten through fifth grade), Brundrett Middle School (sixth through eighth grade) and Port Aransas High School (ninth through 12th grade).

Students and/or parents may register between 9 a.m. and noon, and from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Documents required are a birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security card, proof of residency and a copy of the student's last report card or withdrawal record from the school previously attended.
