      Registration will be held today, Thursday, Aug. 2, for the First Baptist Church Vacation Bible School (VBS). Pre-enroll children from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in the fellowship hall at the Church, 200 N. Station St. The VBS will be from 6 to 8:50 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, Aug. 5-9.

Kids fish for bikes in Hope Devlin tourney
      Kids will have a chance to win when they enter the Captain Hope Devlin Kids Fishing Tournament on Aug. 10 and 11. Registration is Friday, Aug. 10, and fishing and awards will be Saturday, Aug. 11. Cost is $15 in advance or $20 on tournament day, and includes a t-shirt and a food ticket.
