TUESDAY, JULY 24 • 10:55 p.m. A deputy cited a driver for parking in a "disabled" parking space at Horace Caldwell Pier.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 25 • 5:15 p.m. Citations were issued on the beach for speeding and no liability insurance. • 5:25 p.m. A deputy cited a motorist on the beach for expired vehicle inspection sticker and no liability insurance. • 5:35 p.m. A deputy cited a driver on the beach for no liability insurance, no vehicle inspection sticker and no vehicle registration. The vehicle was impounded.

THURSDAY, JULY 26 • 5:30 p.m. A man was arrested on Tarpon Street for outstanding warrants.

FRIDAY, JULY 27 • 1:12 p.m. A driver was cited on State Hwy. 361 for no driver's license in possession. • 4 p.m. A deputy cited a driver in the 2600 block of State Hwy. 361 for no liability insurance and expired vehicle registration. The vehicle was impounded. • 7:20 p.m. A motorist was cited on the beach for willful and wanton disregard for property and allowing a child to ride unrestrained. • 7:50 p.m. A driver was cited on State Hwy. 361 for no liability insurance, expired vehicle inspection and driving with a suspended license. • 8:20 p.m. Adeputy assisted Corpus Christi police at the scene of an overturned boat on the south side of Packery Channel. No injuries were reported. • 10:40 p.m. A deputy charged a person on the beach with possession of drug paraphernalia. • 11:50 p.m. A deputy assisted Corpus Christi police at the scene of a fatality at Pole 68 on the beach (see related story).

SATURDAY, JULY 28 • 7:55 a.m. On State Hwy. 361, a motorist was cited for speeding. • 1:30 p.m. A driver was cited on the beach for no driver's license and expired vehicle inspection. • 7:30 p.m. A deputy cited a motorist on the beach for willful and wanton disregard for property. • 7:55 p.m. Citations were issued on the beach for speeding and no liability insurance. • 8:15 p.m. A deputy cited a driver on the beach for speeding and expired vehicle registration.
