COAST GUARD STATION PORT ARANSAS
COAST GUARD SIGNALS

MONDAY, JULY 23 • 5:45 p.m. The station received a call reporting a 21-foot pleasure craft taking on water in the Lydia Ann Channel. The Coast Guard responded with a 25-foot Homeland Security Boat and was on scene at 5:51p.m. and towed the vessel to the city docks.

FRIDAY, JULY 27 • 8:25 p.m. Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi dispatched two boats from Station Port Aransas to a capsized pleasure craft just outside the jetties of Packery Channel. All persons were recovered by the Corpus Christi Fire Department prior to the station's arrival.

SATURDAY, JULY 28 • 8:15 p.m. One Coast Guard vessel and a land unit responded to what was believed to be an over turned jet ski 100 yards south of Horace Caldwell pier. Once on scene, a large piece of unknown debris was found and no lives were in danger.
