Jon Gillespie, 18, of Port Aransas, sails through the air after launching himself and his bike from a ramp at the skate area at Port Aransas Community Park. Gillespie was among a few dozen folks taking part in a play day at the skate park on Saturday, June 30. The event was held to raise money to improve skateboarding facilities in Port Aransas.
