Make note: Deadline changes for newspaper due to holiday

Deadline for news and advertising to be included in the July 5 edition of the South Jetty will be noon Monday, July 2.

Deadline for letters will be 9 a.m. Monday.

Because the Independence Day holiday falls on the newspaper's regular press day, Wednesday, July 4, the South Jetty will go to press on Tuesday, July 3. It will be distributed as usual on Thursday, July 5.

The newspaper office will be closed on Wednesday.

Regular business hours will resume at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 5. The usual deadine of 10 a.m. Monday for letters to the editor and noon Tuesday for news and advertising will also be in effect at that time.
