Fish overboard!
Got 'M On deckhand Kenny Hill surfaces between his boat and the bulkhead at Fisherman's Wharf Sunday after diving and retrieving a 44.1-pound dorado that accidentally had fallen into the drink. The Got 'M On had just docked for the Port Aransas Masters tournament weigh-in, and Hill and Capt. K.T. Scott were posing for a photo when the slippery fish suddenly squirted from their hands and disappeared into the murky water below. The mishap drew gasps from the dozens of spectators on hand to view the weigh-in, but Hill pulled off his shirt, dove into the water and retrieved the fish after a nerve-racking minute or so of searching. The fish originally was caught by Scott's 13-year-old brother, Ben Scott. For results of the tournament see Page 7A.
