Service slated for Dean Slagh A memorial service and scattering of ashes has been set for Dean Allen Slagh of Port Aransas who died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the age of 57. The memorial service will be in San Antonio on Saturday, June 23, at 3:30 p.m. at the Pecan Valley Family Church, 3302 E. Southcross. The scattering of the ashes will follow on Sunday, June 24, on the beach in Port Aransas at Beach Access Road 1. Slagh, a contractor, was owner of Port A Homes. He was born Oct. 17, 1949, in San Antonio to Mildred H. Slagh and the late Gerald Slagh. A Baptist, he was a member of the Moore-McDonald VFW Post 8967 in. Survivors include his mother, of San Antonio; his son, Cary Allen Slagh of Amarillo; a sister, Donna Ellis of San Antonio; and his former wife, Robie Slagh of San Antonio. |
