Water Wackiness, Dad's day special on tap as municipal swimming pool

Dive in and have fun this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, June 16 and 17, at the Community Park Pool.

Cool off while having wacky fun Saturday evening, June 16, at the pool, 700 Clark Pkwy., off Ross Ave.

The City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled Water Wackiness, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The event will feature games, races and all sorts of fun, said Rachael King, assistant director of the department.

Everyone may participate at no cost.

On Sunday, June 17, celebrate Father's Day by bringing Dad to the pool. All dads swim free all day when accompanied by a child.
