Taking advantage of a water hose to escape the heat Monday, June 11, were, from left, twins Samantha and Alexander Ryan, 5, and sister, Madeline, right, children of Meredith and David Ryan of Corpus Christi. They were visiting friends Amit, 5, center, and Eden Shoshan, 7, in back, daughters of Talia and Gadi Shoshan of Port Aransas.
