      Port Aransas High School seniors, their guests and juniors had a big time while keeping safe at the 2007 Project Graduation party. The substance-free event is held on graduation night in an effort to prevent accident, injury and death that often happen when seniors party after graduating.

School trustees elect Adams president
      Rick Adams is the new president of the Port Aransas Independent School District Board of Trustees. Adams was elected in a 6-0 vote by board members during a special meeting at the district's administrative offices on Saturday, June 2. Trustee Ken Dunton was out of town.
