KPAB members to hear about recycling program

A representative of Allied Waste- BFIwill speak on the city's recycling system at 7 p.m. Monday, June 11.

He will speak at the Keep Port Aransas Beautiful (KPAB) meeting, at the Community Center, 408 N. Alister St.

It is free and open to the public.

Some topics to be discussed will be the company's arrangement with the city, what can be recycled and what cannot and where recycled materials go after leaving the island. A question and answer session will be included.

The slate of board directors for 2007/08 also will be presented for a vote.

A board meeting will be held at 6 p.m.
