Community Presbyterian women will meet Tuesday

The Presbyterian Women of Community Presbyterian Church will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, June 12.

It will be held at 7 p.m. in the JELM library, 129 S. Alister St.

Joan Snyder will lead the lesson, and Jane Thompson and Trudy Beimers will be the hostesses.

The group gave three scholarships to seniors this year, Katie Coeckelenburgh, Jillian Bartlett and Nicole Sanchez.

In addition, the group will give each graduating senior a card and $25, to let them know the women of the church are proud of their achievements.

Women of the community are invited to join the group that studies the Bible and holds fundraising events to support scholarships, help the JELM center and other community needs.
