Recycling, waste to be discussed at KPAB meeting Wednesday, June 11

Find out all about the city's recycling with Allied Waste-BFIat the next meeting held by Keep Port Aransas Beautiful (KPAB).

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, June 11, at the Community Center, 408 N. Alister St.

A representative of Allied will speak on the system, the company's arrangement with the city, what can be recycled and what cannot, where it goes after leaving the island and will answer questions.

KPAB members and the general public are welcome.

A board meeting will be precede the presentation at 6 p.m.
