Art sale is Saturday

Residents and visitors are invited to shop for a variety of art at the Third Saturday Sale held by the Art Center for the Islands.

It will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on May 19, at the art center, 323 N. Alister St.

Original art in many mediums will be for sale at a discount of 10 to 50 percent for the monthly sale.

The monthly sale is held to introduce the community and visitors to artists who support the art center. Artists discount one piece or all pieces on display at the center.

The Art Center for the Islands is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation serving the islands since 1996.
