Lady Marlins dealt loss by visiting Woodsboro team Woodsboro sought and got revenge from Port Aransas High School's Lady Marlins on Tuesday, April 3. The visiting Lady Eagles delivered the Lady Marlins a 3-11 loss. "We have one bad inning every game, usually the sixth," said Coach Karen Hall. Still, Hall said the girls "play hard and are progressing each game. We just don't play enough games before the season to help us get ready." The team is composed primarily of freshmen, and "the younger you are, the more time you need to prepare," Hall said.
"We made some good plays at 2nd and 3rd bases that most varsity teams can't make, so we are doing things right, just not enough things right," Hall said. |
