Egg hunt
Kids invited to seek Easter treats April 8

The Easter Bunny will make a stop in Port Aransas on Sunday, April 8, to supervise the annual Easter egg hunt.

Kids from zip to 10 are invited to be at the Port Aransas Community Park by the swimming pool at 2 p.m., according to coordinator Ida Jones.

Port Aransas youngsters will hunt for goody-filled plastic Easter eggs and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny during the event.

The community-wide event sponsored by the Port Aransas Rotary Club is free and open to the public.

Prizes will be awarded to winners in five age groups for a special egg in each age group. Age groups are infants to 2 years; 3 to 4 years; 5 to 6 years; 7 to 8 years; and 9 to 10 years.
