Monday special
      On Monday, Feb. 5, Kelly Burger of Minnesota took advantage of the Winter Texan special aboard the Scat Cat out of Fisherman's Wharf. The trip brought in limits of kingfish, shark and lane and vermilion snapper with Capt. Donnie Lueck.

Gifts from the gulf
      A 77-pound spinner shark, and limits of kingfish and shark brought smiles to these anglers from Minnesota. They were fishing an 8hour trip on the Kingfisher out of Deep Sea Headquarters. Capt. Fred Hedemann led the trip on Saturday, Feb. 3.

Young anglers rack up

Clearer water equals more inshore catches
      This past week brought sun, warmer weather and clearer water, which added up to, better catches for most. A 77-pound spinner shark caught on the Kingfisher with Capt. Fred Hedemann was the big catch out of Deep Sea Headquarters this week.
