Down the line
A trio of visitors looks for shells just beyond the bulkheaded area adjacent to the Corpus Christi Ship Channel at the end of Port Street. The shoreline behind them will get a revetment as the finishing project of a push to bulkhead the entire length from the Port Street fishing pier to the mouth of Piper Channel. The Texas General Land Office told the city last week that a grant to finish the project had been approved.
