Casino Night set Jan. 13

A good time is guaranteed for those who attend Casino Night on Saturday, Jan. 13.

The Port Aransas Rotary Club sponsors the event.

Casino Night offers the chance to take a flyer on the roulette wheel, the craps table, or a hand of poker – all in fun, and with the profits going to scholarships for Port Aransas High School seniors.

Further, the price of admission includes a fish dinner complete with hush puppies and all the trimmings.

The evening will begin with dinner at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center followed by the opening of the casino at 7 p.m.

Tickets, at $20 a person, cover both the dinner and Casino Night.

Each ticket comes with $500 worth of betting chips.

Tables will include black jack, craps, roulette, big wheel and chucka luck. Players will get free popcorn, and drawings for door prizes and raffle prizes, and a silent auction will be held.

Tickets are available at the Family Center IGA courtesy booth, the Chamber of Commerce, ValueBank Texas, Island Retreat, from any Rotarian, or at the door if available.
