Fischer, Mixed Nuts to entertain at free concert on Monday night

Winter Sounds, to be held Monday, Jan. 8, will feature Port Aransas entertainers Shirley Fischer and the Mixed Nuts.

The free concert will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Civic Center, 710 Ave. A. “Join us for wonderful musical

entertainment,” said assistant director of the Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department Rachael King. The department sponsors the concert series.

“Bring your laid back island attitude and your favorite beverage,” she said.
