Crysup, Sikes marry

Katie Crysup and David Sikes of Corpus Christi were married Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Community Presbyterian Church in Port Aransas. Rev. Richard Safford officiated.

Charlie and Linda Zahn of Port Aransas were the best man and matron of honor.

The bride wore a street-length, two-piece sleeveless beaded white dress with a shoulder length lace trimmed veil.

The wedding reception was held at the Port Aransas Community Theatre reception hall. The bride is the daughter of Mike

and Sissy Crysup of Rusk. She has a bachelor of science degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She is employed as a microbiologist at the Corpus Christi/Nueces County Health Department.

The groom is the son of Bobbi and the late Gene Sikes of Bellaire. He has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Houston and is employed as an outdoors columnist for the Corpus Christi Caller~Times.

The couple will make their home in Padre Isles.
