Kick off the New Year with a little exercise by participating in the 2008 Meander.

The two-mile fun run or 2008- meter walk will begin promptly at 2:08 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1. Meet at the Community Park at the end of Ross Ave., to meander with residents and visitors alike.

Sponsored by the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department, the event is free and open to the public.
