Eight seats are open for a trip to Market Day in Goliad on Saturday, Dec. 8. The trip is sponsored by the Joint Effort Leisure Ministry (JELM) Center.

Other trips scheduled through the end of the year have been cancelled due to lack of interest.

Cost of the Goliad trip is $20.

Market Day features nearly 200 vendors selling wares as well as tours of historic sites, including the Fannin battlefield, the Presidio La Bahia Mission and Mission Espiritu Santo.

The drive to Goliad will be made in the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation bus with assistant director Rachael King at the wheel.
