Boys in first through sixth grades at H.G. Olsen Elementary and Brundrett Middle schools and their parents are invited to register for Cub Scout Pack 29 tonight, Thursday, Dec. 6.

Registration will be 6 p.m. at the Cub Scout Hut behind the Pollock Center.

The Cub Scout program provides weekly or bi-weekly activities. Registration is a one-time occurrence in Port Aransas. Once a boy pays his initial $11 registration fee, he can complete the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs in Port Aransas without any more registration fees.

Parents, grandparents and adult leaders are always needed. "The scouting experience will not only give your child an opportunity to mature and grow with positive images and role models, but will also give the parents an opportunity to spend quality time with their children," said Scoutmaster Chuck Borders.

The Cub Scout Pack is sponsored by the Jerry McDonald Foundation and is registered with the South Texas Council of Boy Scouts.
