MARION DREYER Marion Marie Voytasko Dreyer of Aransas Pass died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2007 in a Corpus Christi hospital. She was 66, and a former resident of Port Aransas.

Dreyer was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Stephen and Rose Voytasko.

She came to Port Aransas with her husband, Dwane, to care for his father, Edgar Norris Dreyer. Her husband's uncle, Lloyd Dreyer still resides in Port Aransas.

While living in Port Aransas she worked at Island State Bank and the Family Center prior to its becoming an IGA affiliate.

Dreyer remained in the area for 30 years, moving to Aransas Pass. She retired from the banking business and was a member of the Golden Triangle Art Center.

Survivors include her husband, Dwane Dreyer of Aransas Pass; two sons, Michael (Lorie) Dreyer of Alabama and David (Rosita) Dreyer of Rockport; one brother, Richard Voytasko of San Antonio; three grandchildren, William, Britan and David D. Dreyer and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, William and Bryce.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 12, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Aransas Pass. Interment followed at Prairie View Cemetery.
