With the Oct. 13 cross-country meet in Calallen behind them, Brundrett Middle School cross-country runners now are ready for district competition, said Coach Javier Mendoza.
The Calallen event "was a tough meet," Mendoza said. "There were a lot of runners, (but) the kids held their own."
BMS runners are making progress.
"This is a good group of kids," Mendoza said. "They show up and run, (with) minimal whining. I was proud of their efforts."
