Olsen Elementary School. The shirts feature student artwork. If you didn't get a chance to buy an H.G. Olsen Elementary School t-shirt when the newly designed duds first were offered in late spring, you've now got another chance.

Folks interested in buying a shirt can drop by the school office or contact H.G. Olsen Elementary School PTO President Michelle Lorette at 749-1616 or other PTO board members.

The shirts trumpet the Olsen Elementary name and feature an illustration created by a team of students from every grade in the school last year. The colorful illustration depicts many of the shorebirds that inhabit Port Aransas waters, including the roseate spoonbill - the town's official bird.

The PTO is selling the shirts for $7 apiece. The organization will earn only a small profit from each shirt and is selling them mostly to promote H.G. Olsen and raise school spirit.

The shirts come in adult and children 's sizes.
