Dennis O. Malone, 68, died unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, in Corpus Christi with his family by his side. He was a part-time resident of Port Aransas where he owned a condominium.

DENNIS MALONE He was born on June 25, 1939, in Detroit, Mich.

Malone was a graduate of Michigan State University and entered into the newly developing computer industry as a salesman. He left the corporate world in 1988 to start his own landscaping business in San Antonio.

After semi-retiring, Malone enjoyed his time fishing on the Texas Gulf coast. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; four sons, Jeffrey (Margaret), Michael (Dawnne), Philip (Susie) and Jeffrey and 12 grandchildren. All are from San Antonio.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel in San Antonio.
