PAHS cross-country team takes second
The Marlin varsity girls' crosscountry team took second place at the Odem High School Cross-Country Meet on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Again conditions were muggy.
"There really hasn't been a breeze many days this season," according to Coach Steve Reaves.
While flat, the course weaved in and out of the Odem ISD campus, "so it wasn't a real fast course with all of the turns," Reaves said.
" I was proud of how all of the kids ran. Our times still aren't where we need them to be, but our effort is. Effort is my biggest concern this time of the year. We are working on getting mentally and physically tougher. I was real pleased with everybody's performance," he said.
