Allan Blackard, a former resident of Port Aransas, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at his home in Kerrville. He was 64.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.A. and Katherine Blackard, and his brother, Frederick "Blacky" Blackard.

Survivors include four children, four grandchildren, a sister and sister in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
