Guy Broekstra of Aransas Pass died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at his home. He was 71 and the father of Eileen Hoffman of Port Aransas. Broekstra was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Chicago, Ill. to Richard and Helen Broekstra.
