Save $4 by buying a yearbook this week. Through tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 31, the Port Aransas Independent School District 2006-07 Marlin yearbook may be purchased without paying sales tax.

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4, sales tax will be added to the $40 price tag.

Yearbooks may be bought at Port Aransas High School from yearbook sponsor, Monica Sonnier.

Pre-ordered books will be distributed Monday, Sept. 3. Seniors will need to come by the school to pick up their copies.

Sonnier said an added surprise in this issue is additional pages in color that are usually printed in black and white.

The yearbook staff has begun selling ads for the 2007-08 yearbook. Parents and businesses are urged to support the staff by buying an ad.

For the first time, color ads may be ordered for insertion in a yearbook.
