MARIE GILLEY Eula Marie Gilley died Saturday, June 9, 2007, at a Corpus Christi nursing home. She was 96, and the mother of Ken (Marcie) Gilley of Port Aransas.

Gilley was born Feb. 10, 1911, in Toto, to Samuel and Mary Smith Sherrill.

She married August Wagoner Gilley on June 5, 1926, in Weatherford.

He and her son Milford Eugene Gilley preceded her in death.

Other survivors include a daughter, Vel (Sandy) Guzman of Mexico; grandson Matt (Heather) Gilley; and great-grandsons, Kenneth and Matthew Gilley.

Graveside services were held at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, on Wednesday, June 13.
