Kids' birding classes start

The classes will be held on three Thursdays, starting today Birding For Kids will be held for the next three Thursdays beginning today, Thursday, June 14.
"Introduction to Birds", three basic classes at three different locations, is for ages seven and up.
The Coastal Bend Audubon Society, The University of Texas Marine Science Institute and Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve sponsor the classes.

The classes are free.
"Sign up for one class, sign up for all, you decide. Bring your own binoculars if you have them. If not, we have eight pairs of binoculars available for loan on a first come basis," Fuiman said.
Attendees are urged to wear a hat and sunscreen.
Today's class will be from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Hans Suter Wildlife area on Ennis Joslin Dr. in Corpus Christi .
The next class will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Thursday, June 21, at Indian Point on Hwy. 181, NR in Portland.
The last class will be from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center on Ross Ave. in Port Aransas.
