Mae Hendricks died Monday, May 14, 2007, at a Corpus Christi hospital. She was , 87, a resident of Aransas Pass and a former resident of Port Aransas.
Hendricks was born August 11, 1919, in Princeton, to Franklin and Minerva Evens.
She was a 50-year member of the Rebekah Lodge, a lifetime member of VFW Post 2932 and a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Port Aransas. She had been a waitress for Sue's Café in Port Aransas.
Hendricks was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and her husband, Minor Hendricks in 1978.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Jeanne) Hendricks of Aransas Pass and Bruce (Celeste) Hendricks of Rockport; one daughter, Dolores (Richard) Guenter of Bloomington; seven grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., today, Thursday, May 17, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, with Donnie D'Herde officiating.
Interment will follow at Royal Palms Cemetery.
